Daily Masses Without a My Vaccine Pass

Monday – Friday

7 am

These Masses are celebrated at Christ the King.

What do I need to do for a Daily Mass Without a My Vaccine Pass?

Just like our Sunday Mass for those without a My Vaccine Pass, we are limited 50 people

However, we will not be requiring people to register for these Masses as we believe we will not be exceeding these limits.

Alongside social distancing and the strong recommendation to wear a mask, we ask that you sign in either using the NZ Covid Tracer App or by filling in the slips of paper found in the foyer of the Church.

Please note that these Masses will be celebrated at Christ the King Church, and unlike our normal Mass Schedule, Adoration does not follow 7am Mass.

What about Reconciliations?

Reconciliations will be now from 10 am – 11 am at St Gregory’s Church. This will be celebrated as a without a ‘My Vaccine Pass.’ As you wait to celebrate this sacrament, we ask that you observe the 1m social distancing rules and that you wear a mask.

The change of time allows the people attending the Saturday 9:15am Mass (with a ‘My Vaccine Pass’) to vacate the Church.

Other Practical Information?

We will continue to observe the guidelines issued by our Diocesan Office under ‘Orange’ such as no holy water stoups,  Holy Communion under one kind, and receiving communion on the hand.

We will be able to restart the sign of peace but we ask that you respect those who to not wish to make contact with you. A simple bow is sufficient. Once we have our rosters back in place, the collection and offertory will restart – but at this stage (please place any donations in the basket).

For Masses with a ‘My Vaccine Pass,’ coming forward to receive Holy Communion will begin again and we ask that you wear your mask while coming up for Holy Communion. For Masses without a ‘My Vaccine Pass,’ we ask that you remain in your seats and the priest will bring you Holy Communion.
