What is Alpha?

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key way.

It is a course that is friendly and fun!

A shared meal begins the session which allows people to get to know each othe. During the sessions there are opportunites to listen, learn, discuss and discover the aspects of the Christian Faith.

Ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile!

Who is Alpha for?

Everyone is welcome on an Alpha Course!

People come for a wide variety of reasons.

Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. 

Still, others may have attended church on and off all their livebut feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. 

People come from many different viewpoints – buwe all come with the same objective:  to explore the questions of life and the relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. 

What is Involved?

Alpha consists of a series of talks look at topics such as ‘who is Jesus?’ and ‘Is there more to life than this?’

The Alpha Course meets every week (over 10 weeks) and includes a weekend away.

What will it cost?

There is no charge for coming to Alpha!

However, there is a cost for the Alpha Weekend Retreat.
